The Odisha government has started giving the third part of the first installment under the Subhadra Yojana. Each woman gets ₹5,000 directly in her bank account. More than 20 lakh women received the money this time.
The goal of Subhadra Yojana is to help women by giving them financial support. The installment was released at an event in Sundargarh, Odisha.
Chief Minister Mohan Majhi shared that the government has already given ₹1,000 crore under this scheme. This money has helped 80 lakh women so far. By December 2024, the plan is to support over 1 crore women.
The Chief Minister said this scheme gives direct money to women, unlike Mission Shakti, which provides loans without interest.
“This is the biggest welfare plan in Odisha. We are helping more than 1 crore mothers and sisters,” he said.
In Sundargarh district, 4.59 lakh women signed up for the scheme. Out of them, 3.37 lakh women have received their first installment during this phase.

- Check at the homepage for “Beneficiary List” option, click on that.
- Now you will see the option to select your district, tehsil, or gram panchayat select yours from the dropdown menu.
- You will see a list now. Check your name in this list if your name is there, you will receive the money when it will get transferred directly to your bank account through DBT.

Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said that more than 1 crore women have uploaded their documents online to join this scheme. She thanked Asha workers and self-help groups for helping make this plan successful.
