If your mobile number is linked to your DigiLocker account, you can easily reset your password. Just follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the DigiLocker Website or App
You need to open DigiLocker website or open the DigiLocker app (download it from the Play Store or App Store to proceed).
Step 2: Click “Forgot Password”
Click on the “Login” option, just below the box find and click the “Forgot Password” option.
Step 3: Enter Your Mobile Number
Enter your mobile number that you registered with your DigiLocker account.
Step 4: Verify OTP
An OTP will be sent on your mobile number. Enter this OTP exactly the same in the space provided and click “Verify.” Do it fast as the OTP expires in 30 seconds.
Step 5: Create a New Password
After verifying the OTP, you’ll be forwarded to reset and create a new password. Enter a strong password by combining letters, numbers, and special characters that you can remember or write it somewhere. Re-enter it to confirm.
Step 6: Log in with Your New Password
Now use your username and new password to log in to your DigiLocker, now it is ready to use again.

Reset DigiLocker Password Using Your Aadhaar Number
If you don’t have your registered mobile number- don’t worry! You can reset your password using your Aadhaar number also. Here’s how:
Step 1: Open the DigiLocker Website or App
Open up the DigiLocker website or open the app.
Step 2: Select “Forgot Password”
Click on the “Forgot Password” option just below to the login button.
Step 3: Enter Your Aadhaar Number
Select the option of Aadhaar number and type your 12-digit Aadhaar number correctly as printed on your card which is linked to your DigiLocker account.
Step 4: Verify with OTP
An OTP will be sent to the mobile number associated with your Aadhaar. Enter it in the space provided and click “Verify.” Enter it quickly before it expires.
Step 5: Reset Your Password
After the OTP verification, you can now create a new password. Confirm it by typing exactly the same again and submit.
Step 6: Access Your Account
Now, log in with your username and the newly created password. You’ve regained access to your DigiLocker.
